The "great game" between Russia and Britain in the 19th century led to Afghanistan becoming a focal point of European interests. Little were the British soldiers prepared for the ferocity and tenacity of these resistant mountain warriors.
This set includes warriors typical of the north-western border during the conflicts with the British between 1830 and 1920. Depending on the weapon's choices, they would not be inappropriate from the 1700s to today.
This box set will give you enough pieces to equip 40 28mm fans with weapons including swords of war and khyber, daggers, shields, muskets, jezail and Martini-Henry rifles.
